EPA Conference App

ABOVE Digital built EPApp, the official conference app of the European Prosthodontic Association, with speakers, abstracts, maps, sponsors and a live feed that updates every year as the conference moves to a new country.

Challenge

The European Prosthodontic Association organises a yearly conference in a different country each time. Speakers, abstracts, venues and sponsors change with every edition, and delegates need one place to find everything. In 2021, for EPA in Athens, the association asked ABOVE Digital for a conference app that could travel with the event.

Solution

ABOVE Digital designed and developed EPApp. Delegates open the app for speakers, abstracts, the scientific programme, venue maps, sponsors and exhibitors, favourites and a live activity feed. Content is updated for each new host country, so the same app serves every edition. ABOVE Digital is now redesigning EPApp for the 2027 conference.

Why it works

A dedicated conference app keeps the whole programme in every delegate’s pocket, instead of a printed booklet that is out of date by day two. Favourites and the live feed help people plan their time and stay on top of what is happening now. Because the content can be refreshed each year, the investment lasts across editions and countries. The format suits any association or organiser that runs a recurring conference.
