Microsoft Hellas 25 Years

At the celebration of 25 years of Microsoft Hellas, guests wrote their own wishes by hand, and each one appeared live on the event’s big LED wall.

Challenge

In November 2017, Microsoft Hellas celebrated 25 years in Greece. Digital Tribes asked ABOVE Digital for an activation that would let guests take part in the celebration and leave a personal mark on the evening.

Solution

ABOVE Digital created a live wishes wall. Guests wrote their wishes in their own handwriting, and each wish appeared in a tile on the big LED wall next to the 25 years branding, so the wall filled up with birthday and holiday messages throughout the night.

Why it works

A handwritten wish feels personal in a way no slide can. Guests see their own words on the main screen, which makes them part of the celebration, and the brand’s anniversary is told through the warm messages of the people in the room. The wall works as a live backdrop for photos and conversation, and the format suits anniversaries, corporate parties and any event built around a shared moment.
