ZENITH at the Thessaloniki International Fair 2019

At the Thessaloniki International Fair 2019, visitors to the ZENITH stand touched printed walls and watched projection mapping bring everyday energy-saving tips to life around them.

Challenge

In September 2019, ZENITH took part in the Thessaloniki International Fair (ΔΕΘ). The brand wanted to show visitors how electricity can be used more efficiently at home, in a way that would be remembered long after the fair rather than read on a leaflet and forgotten.

Solution

Together with Digital Tribes and Ogilvy, ABOVE Digital created an interactive space inside the ZENITH stand. The walls were printed with simple illustrations of home appliances and “touch here” points. Conductive touch turned those points into buttons: when a visitor touched one, projection mapping animated the wall and revealed a practical tip, such as connecting the dishwasher to solar power or a gas boiler.

Why it works

People learn best by doing. Instead of reading advice, visitors discover it with their own hands, and each touch rewards them with a small moment of animation that makes the tip stick. The clean printed walls stay attractive even when nobody is touching them, while projection mapping adds the surprise. For ZENITH, energy efficiency becomes an experience that feels friendly and easy. The format suits energy, utility and any brand with a useful message to explain.
